Terry King

Terry King is a financial advisor by trade and has been a Rotarian for over 20 years. A
chance encounter at his regular Rotary club meeting led to his wife accepting a job from
a corrupt coroner who also had an issue with keeping his hands to himself. Since Terry
had a background in compliance management from a previous career, he embarked on
a journey that led to over 125 news articles, at least two changes in state law, one
award for investigative journalism, and the conviction of the coroner and two staff
members. At another Rotary meeting, one of his fellow club members asked a pivotal
question that turned out to be the beginning of significant legal troubles for 26 more
corrupt individuals in government or related to officials.

In his first book, Dead People, Crazy People, Drugs and Politicians, Terry and his
veteran co-author Chris Warner explain how he pulled off something that the FBI said
had never been done in the United States…the conviction and incarceration of the
coroner, sheriff, and district attorney in the same jurisdiction. He also discusses how the
4-Way Test and other Rotary themes inspired, motivated, and guided him through much
of the process.

In his upcoming book, No Limits Big Game Hunting, he explains in detail how he worked
with media, law enforcement, and victims to bring down “The Others.” It is a much
darker read as the subject matter is much more sinister.
