We are thrilled to announce the formation of District 6840’s newest member, the Rotary Club of Sumrall.
This addition reflects the growth and commitment of Rotary International’s mission to foster community service, leadership, and global impact.
The Rotary Club of Sumrall, inaugurated in early 2024, brings together local business, professional, and civic leaders dedicated to making a positive difference in the community. The club’s formation was driven by a collective vision to address local needs and contribute to the broader goals of Rotary International.
The Rotary Club of Sumrall has already set its sights on several community projects aimed at enhancing local services and supporting youth development. Initiatives include partnering with local schools to provide educational resources and launching community health and wellness programs. These efforts align with Rotary’s areas of focus, such as promoting education and fighting disease. They already held a successful crawfish cookoff in May to support their initiatives!
